Driver Update for VLS-2000 NEW (October 2003)
It has become apparent there is an issue for some users with some flicker/noise when using S-Video mode: this issue has been resolved through a software upgrade. Additionally, there is a new sync mode option available through the unit's display menu.
When powering up the VLS-2000, the version number should display either v2.1, v2.2 or v2.3.
>>Software v2.3 is the latest version.<<
If your unit displays a v2.1 or v2.2 and you wish to upgrade, then we will need to send you upgraded chips - you will need to open your unit, remove the original chips and replace with the ones you receive from us. This process is very easy to perform.
If you are not using the S-Video mode or negative sync, then it is unnecessary to change the unit's chips.
The cost of the upgrade chip is $30.00 plus $5.00 shipping and handling.
